8 Inexpensive E-books For Romance Lovers
Since we all have a bit of extra time on our hands, I thought some budget-friendly book recommendations were much needed. In case you hadn’t heard, Amazon is offering free Kindle Unlimited for the next two months. Even without KU these books are awesome deals! If you aren’t an e-book fan, I would still highly recommend each of these books.
Paullett Golden has stolen my heart. From the moment I read her first book The Earl and The Enchantress, I know I had found MY author. Every book of hers has kept me up way too late -and I don’t mind one bit. The Enchantress series is my top suggestion to anyone looking for a historical fiction recommendation.
The first series includes The Earl and The Enchantress, The Duke and the Enchantress, The Baron and The Enchantress, and the latest release The Colonel and The Enchantress. Paullett has graciously lowered the price to 99 cents each for the ebook version from March 22-29th. You can also grab them for free if you have Kindle Unlimited.

Elizabeth: Obstinate Headstrong Girl is high on my To Be Read list. With a five star rating on Amazon, it released to rave reviews. This book boasts 10 re-imaginings of Elizabeth, arguable everyone’s favorite Bennett sister. Each story is by a different author and can be read as a stand-alone. This might just be the perfect book when you need a quick reading break! Normally $4.99 on Amazon you can also get it for free while Amazon is offering two months free Kindle Unlimited.

Katherine Grant’s debut novel The Ideal Countess and I were involved in a one night read. You know the type… the book that makes you lose all track of time. Suddenly, the clock says 1 am and it’s going to take three cups of coffee to get you through the next day. But, the lovers are happily united and it was totally worth it. This book ticks all the boxes for a fantastic friends-to-lovers Regency novel. (Insider info -it will be on sale for 99 cents starting March 26th)

Taming The Captain is the steamy updated bodice ripper we all want when a little escapism is needed. Set on a ship in the 1850s, one would think life on the high seas could become quite boring. Not so! Beatrice Ballentine does an amazing job in her debut novel. The witty dialogue and continuous action keep the story moving the whole time. Available on Amazon, it’s currently $2.99.

Pride and Prejudice. Because, well it’s Jane Austen. There is a reason Austen’s works have stood the test of time. Her deep dive into human nature has kept her novels truly timeless. Whether it is a reread or your first time meeting Mr. Darcy, this book will fill your soul with happiness. If you love the Regency Era as much as I do, stay tuned for a blog post soon sharing my favorite Regency documentaries. You can get this classic free on Amazon.
I would love to hear if you read any of these recommendations. Please feel free to leave a comment below. Also, come find me on Instagram and Twitter! I would love to hang out and chat all things romance.
